Midland Motors is a U.K based family run small business with years of experience in export of prestige and performance vehicles mainly to africa. We selectively purchase stock from some of the biggest car dealers and auctions in the U.K
We buy cars that we would be happy to drive ourselves so what you get from us is desirable and you are guaranteed to buy with confidence time and again.
Not only do we stock our own vehicles,at a fee we also assist car buyers in Africa by inspecting and test driving cars sourced elsewhere,we arrange shipping and timely despatch of bills of lading, invoices and spare keys for the car. If required,JEVIC inspection can also be arranged.JEVIC inspection is a pre-export inspection and certification carried out by an appointed inspector to check roadworthiness of motor vehicles prior to export. There is a penalty fee charged on top of duties and taxes charged by customs on the importer if a vehicle arrives at the final destination without a jevic certificate however some clients prefer to deal directly with their customs authorities regarding Jevic as sometimes waiting for a Jevic inspection can delay shipping if there if the Jevic office does not have an inspectpr to travel to where we are located or if they cannot give us a date that is convenient bearing in mind that most clients want vehicles shipped as soon as they pay for them.
For those who wish to enhance the look of their cars,we also provide a ''pimp my ride'' service(at the buyer's cost) we source good alloy and chrome wheels and also arrange window tinting,cd changer and dvd installations etc.
Transit time for Vessels from the U.K is 14 to 16 days for Walvis Bay and Durban and 20 to 30 days for Dar Es Salaam and Mombasa sometimes there are shipping delays especially around December/January due to many factors which include bad weather conditions in Europe meaning vessels cannot sail but realistically,all cars bought from the U.K will be in your hands within 30 days so why wait 3 months for a car from Japan. Please be warned that there are some scammers trying to ride on the success of Midland Motors,we do not accept western union payments therefore do not send any payments to anyone claiming to be representing Midland Motors unless prior arrangements have been made with us and usually for small amounts only as the best and most secure way of making payments in this trade is bank transfer and it is advisable that you call us before making any money transfers so that we reconfirm the bank details,scammers can sometimes hack into emails and give false information including bank details. Be advised too that all invoices and receipts for all sales are generated and sent directly from the U.K,we shall not be held accountable for losses incurred by people who deal with the said scammers.
